Standing Orders

Like other professionally run parish councils, Embsay with Eastby Parish Council makes standing orders to regulate its business and proceedings and reviews them annually. The standing orders are based on a national model, published by the National Association of Local Councils. These standing orders enable the Council to make decisions based upon established precedents.
